Arrow Safety Device Company has been providing innovative products, ideas and solutions for automotive and highway safety since 1930. Our long, productive history in the transportation, highway and automotive industry, coupled with our expertise and knowledge of safety lighting, security products, and ballistics solutions has made us the leader in quality lighting and safety products in Delaware.

In 2008, we combined our manufacturing sites in Georgetown, DE and Mount Holly, NJ and moved into our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Selbyville, Delaware. The move has provided us with more room to expand our product lines while continuing to give you with the same quality and service our customers have grown to rely on, along with the best pricing possible. In particular, we have been able to significantly expand our LED product line.

Our philosophy is built firmly upon the desire to offer innovative safety products and supplies while maintaining our commitment to quality customer service and meeting all vehicle safety lighting requirements. Our transportation safety and security equipment meets all D.O.T./S.A.E. quality standards. History

Arrow Safety Device Company has been a lead manufacturer and distributor of vehicle lighting for the transportation industry for over 80 years. Founded in 1930, Arrow has successfully maintained a long, productive history in the transportation and highway safety industry. Arrow Safety has been a pioneer in automotive lighting, developing the first practical turn signal system, as well as, helping to engineer today’s government regulated traffic safety requirements.

In the 1940s and 1950s, Arrow Safety Device Company expanded its product line, becoming one of the largest vehicle safety product manufactures not only in the Mid-Atlantic region, but in the entire United States. It was in the late 1960s, with the creation of the Department of Transportation, that Arrow began playing a crucial role in the establishment of the SAE requirements that would be adopted by the Federal DOT to become legal requirements. Already meeting DOT standards, Arrow Safety Device lights became a popular option for the general public.

By the 1970s, Arrow Safety Device Company had effectively raised the bar in automotive safety industry standards. It was during this time that Arrow released their unique and popular Sno-Laser, an all-aluminum housing snowplow whose innovative and superior design earned a U.S. Patent.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Arrow expanded their product line by continuing to invent, produce and manufacture new technologies in the traffic and automotive lighting field. By the beginning of the 21st Century, Arrow achieved bragging rights as the only manufacturer direct website that would allow customers to order and purchase products online.

In 2008, a group of independent entrepreneurs purchased Arrow Safety Device Company, combining the Mount Holly, NJ and Georgetown, DE locations to form their new, state-of-the-art facility in Selbyville, Delaware. The move allowed for significant growth, including an increase in product development.

In 2013, Arrow merged with South Penn Delta, increasing their product offerings to include highway safety and traffic control products. The merger allowed the company to offer customers shipment and delivery of traffic and highway safety products such as reflective delineators, sign posts, reflective wear, arrow boards, marking paint and traffic cones.

More recently, Arrow Safety Device Company has expanded their products lines to provide items to Public Safety Agencies including Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, EMS, among many others.
